Big Things Around Australia

Writer: brittneybrittney

Australia is huge and sometimes long car rides in-between destinations can be a little boring. So why not stop and have a few fun pawtography sessions along the way with Australia's novelty "Big Things" to break up your travel day.

What are they?

The 'Big Things' are man-made statues/objects that stand very tall and normally represent something special that each region is famous for.

Fun Fact:

There are thought to be over 150 Big Things around the country and most are located on travel routes between major towns.

How to find them:

You can pawchase maps to show you the exact locations of each but we prefer to use the Wikicamps app and just search for "Big Things" in the landmarks. As they are huge you can normally just spot them as you are driving along also.

Below are some of the pawesome pics we have taken around the country. We went past many more Big Things on our travels but didn't stop for all of them as (to be honest) Daddy got a little sick of pulling over with the caravan in tow just for my modelling pics ;)
