Warratina Lavendar Farm, Yarra Valley, Victoria
I was lucky enough to stay in the beautiful Yarra Valley with my Nanny + Poppy when we went back to Victoria for a visit, and we popped out to the gorgeous Warratina Lavendar Farm for morning tea.

Where is it:
The Lavendar farm is in the Yarra Valley, around a 1 hour drive from the Melbourne CBD (depending on traffic!). This region is known for its wineries, luxury accommodation, fresh regional produce and stunning landscape so make sure you check out all the other dog friendly activities while your there.

What’s on offer:
The Tea House Café is famous for its delicious treats including it’s supaw famous lavender scones and lavender tea - for the humans (I may have had a little nibble of a scone when know one was looking). You can also grab some gorgeous lavendar products + gifts from the on-site shop.
But let’s be honest – we were there to get some supaw pretty photos with the lavendar flowers. While you visit, you and your fur baby are also welcome to wonder through the beautiful gardens and lavender fields and trust me, there are plenty of picture pawfect photo opportunities to be had. We even saw a few pawfessional photographers taking pics while we were there.

Fun fact:
There are over 10,000 lavendar plants on this farm!!
Best time to visit:
The best time to visit is when the lavender is in full bloom; early summer - late summer, however it can bloom at other times so best to check directly. We visited in December and although it was still quite chilly the lavender was pawfectly stunning.
Hot tip:
Throughout the year Warratina Lavendar Farm also hosts dedicated “doggy days” that are all about the fur children. They have fun games, treatos, doggy markets, pamper sessions and even competitions for the best dressed pooch.
Side note: They didn't bother us, but just be aware of the bumble bees!
Final thoughts:
A gorgeous little supaw relaxed morning out if your in the Yarra Valley with your pooch. Weekends can get a little busy, so best to book a table in advance for morning tea to avoid disappointment.
Happy brunching
